Assesment

Global International School follows CCE – Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation – a process of evaluation formulated by Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE] in India.

The core aim of the CCE is to evaluate the every angle of the child during their presence in school. CCE method brings enormous change in the education and it is much better than traditional “Chalk and Talk” method. In CCE method students are graded through a series of Curricular and Extra-Curricular activities along with the academics.

In GIS, we have Four Formative Assessments [FA’s] and Two Summative Assessments [SA’s]. Formative is not merely a Paper – Pencil Test. Evaluation is based on the student’s performance in Oral Sessions, Conversations, Assignments, Projects and Quizzes that are conducted periodically and each one of the student is graded according to that assessments.

Formative Assessment carries 40% weightage and Summative Assessment carries 60% weightage in the entire Assessments.
